The Pook

This month’s overall theme card is The Pook.

The Pook is very much a shape-changer. He is one of the Faeries that is sent to challenge our outlook on life therefore he will appear in whatever guise is most confusing depending on what he is trying to challenge us on.

This month it will be important for us to look at the situations we find ourselves in from a clear and focused viewpoint.

Something or someone is muddying the waters allowing confusion to surround our ways of thinking. The Pook finds it very easy to use this to cloud our judgement and have us follow winding paths we would not otherwise take. Leading us not to our best selves but to places of contradictions, paradoxes, and doubt.

Try to see the good in the bad, and the too good to be true nature of the bad in the good. Take this month to calm your inner world and stop projecting the inner madness on your outer world.

The Pook’s fondest wish is that you will wake up and see the reality of the situation – to realise the answers were there all along if we had only looked sooner – to understand that sometimes we get in our own way!

Be prepared for a bit of a shock this month!

It appears you have been letting yourself get to safe recently and imposing limitations on yourself, consciously or not, in order to remain in your comfort zone. However, your higher-self is crying out for you to grow and expand into your next phase which, though you may not hear it, Gawtcha does.

Gawtcha has come to deliver a blind-side to you in your physical world so that you will start to listen to your intuition and the signs the Universe is sending you. Gawtcha knows that if you do not pay attention now then an even more disruptive Faery will have to step in and Gawtcha would prefer to spare you that.

When this shake up arrives – know that it is for the best. Sometimes you must be driven out of the comfort zone so that you can truly enjoy life. It may be difficult and you may feel some sorrow that this is how it has had to be but ultimately you will feel much better for it. The Faeries will help you through and Gawtcha will definitely come and help you up… at least once Gawtcha has made sure you have learned the lesson.

Balance is the key this month!

Things have been feeling out of kilter for you recently and you feel like you juggling far too many balls. Getting to the goal you have in mind seem impossible and so far away right now…

The UnDressing of a Salad team are here to let you know that there is no such thing as impossible. However, it does take some real focus and concentrated effort… you cannot undress a salad easily or without dedication to the task.

It is important to avoid extremes that will cause you to drop the balls you are juggling. Likewise it is as important to develop calm and poise in order to master the juggling of the balls so that you can start to put some of them down in a manner that suits you.

It will be important to spend time this month figuring out exactly what you want and create a real plan for how to get there. This may mean you need to focus up and start to resist the temptations you have been giving in to lately. If you truly want something then the sacrifice will be worth it!

You need to consider things from a different viewpoint this month!

It seems you may have been getting stuck in a situation with someone, or something, because you are thinking to much about what they, or it, ought to be and not what they, or it, actually is.

Leave behind thoughts that come with words like “ought” or “should”, these are not helpful and are likely hurting the situation. Consider, especially where this involves another person, how they are feeling, what their needs are, and who they truly are. Perhaps it is you that is creating the barrier?

Untangle yourself from the emotions involved in the situation and ask the Topsie-Turvets to show you how to stand on your head to see the answers you need. It is often difficult to let go of our long-held beliefs but once you let them drip out of your ears while upside down you might just feel lighter when you come right-side up again!

Honesty sees you for who you truly are and loves you for it! As does the Universe!

This month you need to stop hiding your truth due to the fears of what people think around you. No longer should you hide your morals and authentic self because of the “group consensus”.

Honesty is here to let you no that dishonesty, even in the name of tact, is no benefit to anyone and often leads to feelings of self-doubt, “dirtiness”, and worthlessness. Live your truth, ensure there are no misunderstandings. Speak clearly, concisely, and with no room for error. You don not have to be rude, or hurtful, just speak the truth form a place of honesty, love, and compassion.

You will find that the more you do this then the more others will start sharing honesty with you. And through allowing Honesty to guide us to more authentic lives we all make the world a little brighter in our own way!

Spirit Dancer wants to help teach you how to get out there and start dancing with the Faeries!

A large part of our growing and expanding into our next phase is having a way in which to express our inner self in the outer world. This, says Spirit Dancer, is what art is for!

Perhaps you have been feeling trapped inside yourself lately. Unable to express that feeling which is bubbling away inside of you, whether that is a positive or a negative feeling. Now is the time to find a way to express it.

You might want to dance with the Faeries, you might want to paint, draw, write, sing, play an instrument… Whatever it is that you feel will help you best – now is the time to go for it.

Remember though that you should also share it with others, for in the sharing a new aspect comes to light, that of the perspective of others. When we share something that expresses how we are feeling in our inner world, other people’s perspective on that expression can help us see new facets to the situation. We can then look at things in a different light and often find the key to helping negative feelings pass, or positive ones become even deeper.

Not everyone will like or understand your expression but Spirit Dancer reminds you they do not have to and you can dance anyway! Get out there and be yourself, the Universe and Faery love you and will show you the key to loving yourself!

Taitin is here this month to spread some special Faery dust for you!

Ideas will abound for you this month. Some will be completely new, others will be new ways of looking at old ideas. There will be a few brilliant ones, some pretty good ones, and probably quite a few down right daft ones… You will need to keep your head and make informed decisions about which ones you want to act on.

The Faery dust brings the energy to allow the ideas through, but energy must be focused in the right way to ensure that it does not create chaos! Avoid excesses or extremes this month. Approach all ideas with an open mind and heart but keep yourself grounded while you do so. Utilise your own skills, knowledge, and independent thinking to explore each idea for its merits and discard any that do not fit for you.

Taitin is always excited and she wants to go everywhere and see everything… she will take you with her if she can… but make sure she doesn’t lead you too far into Faery and forget that you must live in the human realm!

The Rarr is a ball of energy that zips around and helps to put a spark into anything it gets attracted to!

Recently you have been feeling a little lack-lustre and wishing you could just muster up the energy to get on with… whatever it is you want to get on with… It just feels like you haven’t quite got enough and you would rather have a nap than do another load of laundry…

The Rarr is here to change all of that. The Rarr will happily lend you some of its energy this month to allow you to get back to living life in a much more energy filled state. Be careful though as you will need to stay grounded in order to actually use the energy. The Rarr is a neutral Faery, the Rarr is not good or bad, the Rarr is just energy, so you have to decide what to do with that energy.

This month try to focus the energy that will come in a positive, useful way that allows you to get back on track and see the joys of life again. Breath, go out in nature, seek clarity on what you want from life – then point yourself at it, grab hold of the Rarr, and go straight for it!

Ekstasis is one of the Singers of Faery and it’s song is the one that fills Unity and the Universe with energy, power and harmony.

Ekstasis is something that we feel as we open ourselves up to the Universe and allow ourselves to be guided by our intuition and signs from our guides. Ekstasis is the energy that lets us know we are moving in the right direction, that we are heading towards our goal, and will soon revel in our accomplishments.

This month spend time allowing yourself to listen for Ekstasis’ song. It is there, and the louder it gets the closer you know you are to your target. Spend time reflecting on how far you have come and appreciating your efforts in getting there.

Ekstasis wants you to allow yourself to feel the joy that comes from knowing you are near the end of this part of your Journey and feel pride in having put all that effort into getting here!

Solus is the Faery that sits between the realm of the Singers and the Fae.

When we are unsure of what we want or who we can turn to Solus will be there for us and is a perfect negotiator and advisor to help us find, and connect, with those we need to assist us.

Perhaps you are feeling a little lost and unsure of your next direction at the moment. Solus is here to let you know that you have all the tools you need you just need a little push in the right direction. Solus will help to show you that you have an inner strength and wisdom that you can deepen if you just start to acknowledge that they are there.

Solus also understands that we cannot do everything alone all the time and so will help bring new things into your life, let you see the little miracles that you have missed, and help you to ask for help in the areas you need it. Also that you too are the help that someone else may need and in trading skills we all grow together as part of the Unity of the Universe.

This month look for the signs and introductions Solus is making, to yourself and others. Work on trusting yourself and your choices so that you can ask for the right help in the areas you truly need it, as well as giving help to others who need your special set of skills!

Laiste is a sphynx and so she is full of riddles but he is also very mischievous.

This month you will start to feel as though your mind is opening, psychic abilities will grow stronger, and long sought for answers will be revealed. Trust this process… All of these changes are improvements to and strengthening of things that you have always known you had access to you are just now remembering that you do.

Some of the things coming to you may seem a little tricky but Laiste does not wish to trip you, she wishes you to notice the obstacle before you fall over it. As a sphynx Laiste brings riddles to you that will help you to think more concisely and clearly about parts of yourself that have been hidden, and in riddling out the answer you will have learned much along the way.

Pay attention to the signs around you this month as they will help reveal the path you will wish to follow as your mystical side starts to have the moonlight shone upon it!

Ilbe is the holder of all lost and forgotten things.

Lately there has been a sense that you have lost that which you always thought you would do, or that you have forgotten about the dreams you help n to so dearly once.

This month will be a time of a few reminders of what those dreams were as Ilbe nudges you to look again at what you could achieve. Ilbe lets you know that he has remembered those things for you, so they are not gone, they just need dusting off and bringing into the light again for fresh consideration.

Open your heart to those things you wish and dream for. Recognise that you are worthy of them. Sped time considering if you still want them, if they need a slight tweak to fit more closely to what you want, and how you can make them happen.

The Faeries will always help you get to the wish, dream, goal, but they cannot do the work for you. Ilbe is here to say that he has held this one for you, the time is now right, so will you be brave enough to get up and act to make it happen?

The Master Maker is here to congratulate you on having mastered your craft, whatever that means for you.

You have worked diligently to hone your skills. You have deepened your knowledge to ensure you always produce the best work possible in your field/arena. You always give each detail its full attention and in its rightful time to make sure that everything you do is as it should be.

This month you should recognise how far you have come and revel in the fact that you have become a Master in your own right. Not that this means you can rest now…

The Master Maker knows that once you have mastered a craft of any kind the work does not end there…. Now is your time to spread your knowledge to those who wish to begin/deepen their knowledge of that craft.

This month you will likely be called to start teaching your craft to others. Do it! The Master Maker is with you to let you know that you do know what you are talking about, you can be trusted to guide others on their Journey, you are needed for those who are unsure where to turn in getting started… Trust yourself and the Universe, give as you have received, The Master Maker says you will not believe the joy that comes your way if you do!
