Hello!

Hi I’m Emma!

I’m a practising Pagan witch from Blackpool. I prefer to call myself an energy reader, as I am empathetic, intuitive and highly sensitive.

Crafting is my passion and therefore my heart, gardening allows me to breathe and therefore my lungs, my mind loves to wander off to different realms and my feet love the adventure of exploring ruins, historic buildings and castles.

If I have any spare time from handcrafting items for my shop and growing my own veggies, I love to write and blog.

My birthday is a couple of days after Halloween, so I am obsessed with everything spooky season.

When did you first realise you saw the world
differently to everyone else?

I have always looked to the sky and wanted to ‘go home’. Ever since I was a child I never really fitted in anywhere, didn’t make friends, conversations bored me and I felt like a square peg in a round hole.

I remember being able to see and sense things other people couldn’t. Shadow figures, energetic presences and I remember so clearly when I was in my early teens I saw a visible pair of boots and legs up to the knees but no body with it, it terrified me so much that I built a wall in my mind and blocked it out.

As I got older, I realised I couldn’t run from my abilities, but trying to force stop them had only pushed the energy into a different outlet. Although I don’t see anything anymore, I can still feel energy and I can touch objects and be able to pick up on energetic bubbles or little stuck memories.

Where is your favourite place to be and why?

I’m fortunate enough to live close to the Lake District & Cumbria so I love being out in the countryside. My favourite place of all time has to be Pendle Hill though. I love the tales and history of the witches, but it’s the energy of the place that has something special.

The lore of the area that has travelled through the lips of thousands of people, over hundreds of years is the perfect example of how energy can be transmuted and redirected, that collectively if we focus on one thought or intention we have the ability to create or destroy.

What challenges have you faced while following your own path on the Journey?

It’s usually other people’s opinions, thoughts, preconceived ideas, lack of understanding.

For me to hold the awareness that they are projecting their own limited beliefs and traumas and that it has nothing to do with me. We all have our soul paths with lessons that we agreed to before incarnating.

All we can do is be true to ourselves and hold authenticity and space for others to witness that individualism can be a positive thing.

Practically, I would suggest unplugging from technology, switching off as many EMF devices as possible, meditating, grounding and getting out in nature.

Acknowledging that if the negative energy is coming from someone else, the intention of their thoughts and words can manifest into your life, so no you aren’t imagining it or going mad. Other people’s energy can affect you. Be selfish, protect yourself, and distance yourself from them. Build a bubble of light around you, and ask your spirit guides for guidance.

Also, have an awareness that what we perceive to be positive or negative are just our perceptions of neutral events. Everything is for a reason, feel it, acknowledge it, understand it will pass and reflect on what you have learnt from it. Everything is temporary, negative vibrations will dissipate and you’ll come out the other side with more love and knowledge of yourself.

Watching people realise that the power has been within themselves the whole time.

You don’t look for outside sources for inspiration or direction, you are the sole creator of your reality.

Being able to sit with candles, incense and music is great, but all those fancy things aren’t necessary.

It’s being so present at the moment that you can touch a tree and feel the stillness, that you can look at the print of a leaf and see the connectivity of us all, and that all I have to do is set an intention, give clear direction and the Universe will connect.

Your true power lies within your individuality.

The little whispers of your intuition will get louder until you listen to them, the knocking of your authenticity is there to bulldoze over any societal programming and that we are all divine, all important.

That if you’re following the crowd, you’re not following your soul. You cannot be true to yourself if you’re following someone else’s path.
